Administrative checks and scrutineering today
Today, the 29th July, take place, in Madeira Tecnopolo, the administrative checks and scrutineering of 2015 edition of Rali Vinho Madeira.
The scrutineering is made by the Federação Portuguesa de Automobilismo e Karting technical delegates Carlos Barros e João Vasconcelos, together with a team of 14 members coordinated by Arlindo Cruz Silva.
Theses are the steps of the scrutineering:
1. Weighting of the cars
2. Checking of the safety equipment - suits, helmets, Hans system - mandatory equipment for competitive drivers. After all, everything must follow FIA rules.
3. Checking of fire extinguishing system, roll-bar, baquetes, belts... a general checking of the car.
4 - Then comes the sealing of the turbos, done in 17 cars taking part in RVM, including all the R5, the1 Mitsubishi Lance EVO 9 and 10 and Clio R3 T
5 - At last, the sealing of the gearboxes and differential is done in 14 cars - all the R5 and S2000.
Scrutineering starts at 18.15 and finish at 21.30 hours, and the administrative checks, that also take place in Madeira Tecnopolo, go from 18 hours to 21.
