Madeiran codriver Vítor Calado meets again the National Championship driver Miguel Campos. They had already been in RVM in 2014 and this year come back to the regional roads with a Skoda Fabia R5.

“We hope we will do a good rally. We are aware that the car is competitive and will try to fight for a podium place. If we reach it, it will be very good, but we know that the field is also very strong. The cars are like ours, drivers with long experience and they will fight for the same goals we have, so it will be very competitive. We think there are five - six teams in this fight. It will be very good for the fans, for the drivers and for the organization”, stressed Vítor Calado.

Even though they don't do rallies very often, the team thinks this handicap is overcome by other positive factors: “Miguel is an almost professional driver, has a many years experience, a remarkable curriculum. On my sied, I just have to adapt a little to Miguel's noting system. We get along almost perfectly from scratch, we have a good friendship, so we fully trust inside the car.”

As Vítor Calado already knows very well the madeiran roads “we add usefulness to the pleasure”.
