After the incident involving the duo Joaquim Alves/Luis Ramalho during SS9-Ribeiro Frio 2, the Rali Vinho Madeira Organization decided to cancel the stage and move towards a regrouping at the Service Park.
Rali Vinho Madeira motivates a vast number of people to head out to the route to watch the cars pass, however there are those who prefer look at the cars up close whatching the race of the teams trying to fix and tune the rally car ready to get back to the stages. For this reason, the Service Park at the Praça do Mar has registered a notable movement of fans this morning, curious and apreciating the teams and and the vehicles in this edition of RVM.
Giandomenico Basso continues to lead the RVM 2017 at the end of the SS4 (Campo de Golf 2) and SS5 (Palheiro Ferreiro 2).
To do Rally2 the drivers must submit in writing their intent to do Rally2 tomorrow.
Vehicle may enter Parc Ferme between 00:30 and 01:10 of august 5 or between 7 - 8:45 am to undergo scrutineering.

A dupla Giandomenico Basso/Lorenzo Granai lideram o RVM após as PEC 2 (Campo de Golfe 1) e PEC3 (Palheiro Ferreiro 1), com o tempo 00:21:49,9. No segundo posto estão os madeirenses Alexandre Camacho/Pedro Calado (00:21:53,2) e, em terceiro, Stephane Lefebvre/Gabin Moreau ((00:22:06,0).
Alexandre Camacho venceu a PEC 2 com o tempo 00:07:40,4 e Basso venceu a PEC 3, ao fazê-la em 00:12:16,0.
