It is with utmost happiness that we witness, in 2021, the accomplishment of one of the greatest automobile sports competitions, acknowledged as one of the best at European level. 
The 62nd edition of Rali Vinho da Madeira has fulfilled all the requirements to have the competition on the roads on the 5th August, thanks to the effort of all local people from Madeira and Porto Santo, who have cooperated in a responsive, civic way the restrictions imposed by Covid- 19, in order to assure the restart of the normal daily life in our Region.
I am certain that, in the name of common will, the Rali Vinho da Madeira will be performed safely. 
I appreciate the effort everyone did last year. It was, once again, the revelation that we are stoic and selfless! 
Rali Vinho da Madeira is an event of all Madeirans. More than an event for those who visit us, it’s our own festivity. It’s our soul that gives life to the gathering of people on the roads.
There’s nothing left for me to say but to wish a great rally to everyone and be safe on and off the roads.
