José Pedro Fontes returns to Rali Vinho da Madeira with his Citroën C3 Rally2 and intends to "fight for the Portuguese Rally Championship and win the race. Fontes, aged 46, has been through many different of motorsport, in which he has won several titles, but he made his rallying debut in 1998 with a Seat Ibiza GTi. He has represented various brands, such as Fiat in the Punto Kit-Car and Punto S2000 or Renault with Clio S1600. Since 2016 he has been linked to Citroën and PSA group, now Stellantis. He won the FIA ERT Iberian Rally Trophy in 2016 and was National Champion in 2015 and 2016. He is third in the CPR 2022.
