José Pedro Fontes wins SS9 - Ribeiro Frio 2 - with 4:24,0. Bruno Magalhães loses 2.4 secs and has now only a half second advantage.

Alexandre Camacho keeps improving and was second in this stage, thus stealing fourth place overall from Miguel Nunes. These two drivers and Miguel Campos keep a lively fight, only a few seconds apart
Rali Vinho Madeira keeps the media attention, as can be seen from the 220 accreditation requests Media Office received before the event.
Ten of them are foreigners, 15 come from mainland Portugal and the remaining are from Madeira, assuring national coverage in television, radio, newspapers, magazines, websites and photo.
Giacomo Costenaro's Peugeot 208 T16 R5 arrived shortly ago at Service Park. The italian driver had an accident in SS4 - Campo de Golfe 2 and his staff is now evaluating the damages to try repairing the car.
So far, besides the already informed retirements of Filipe Freitas and Giacomo Costenaro, there are some more drivers out of the race, being expected they will return tomorrow in super-rally:

When the cars go through Service Park, there is o lot of movement around the cars.
Teams set details and the drivers rest, eat or change ideas or informtaions.
The fans also watch closely all the action and make photos, to remind later.
With the accident of Filipe Freitas, the stage was stopped. The following decisions were made:
- the two drivers who were inside the stage, followed teh «normal» route, as a connecting road;
- the remaining drivers reached Regroupping through the alternative route;
- as all the drivers were in Funchal on time, all the event schedule ramained unchanged;
The drivers who could not make the stage received the following times:
- Porsche cars - received the same time as Romain Dumas;
- Carlos Vieira - same time as Pedro Meireles;
Everything is ready to start the second stage of Rali Vinho Madeira 2016.
There is already big movement in the Service Park, so that nothing is missing on this second day of the race with 10 stages.

This year, besides receiving the traditional autographs session, that took place last tuesday, Casino da Madeira will join Rali Vinho Madeira with a closing party of the event.
