His victories in 2011, 2012 and 2014 leave Bruno Magalhães one victory behind the italian Giandomenico Basso (winner in 2006, 2007, 2009 and 20013), in Rali Vinho Madeira (RVM) history. This is an additional interesting issue for the event and the Portuguese driver.

“I am highly motivated to reach the fiourth victory and be a part of Rali Vinho Madeira Golden Book, as the most victorious driver”, stressed Bruno Magalhães, talking about another participation in the madeiran event.

“This is the rally I prefer. I tis not part of the European Championship I am entering, but I do my best to attend, as I thins i tis a quality race, with na excelente organisation and a fantastic public, who have cherished and supported me. For me, it is a rally of passion”, admitted the winner of RVM last edition.

Bruno Magalhães and co-driver Hugo Magalhães will be in Madeira with a Peugeot 208 T16. This season, they took part in two events: Sata Rallye Açores and Ypres Rally, in Belgium.
“We were fourth in both these European Championship rallies. So far, we have the best expectations. The car is doing well and we will always do our best”, he added, leaving good clues to Madeira:

“I hope the car is perfect. We will test on Monday, to assure the car is working correctly, to choose the best setting for the madeiran asphalt and style.”

Delta Rally driver foresees a very competitive race on the 30 and 31 July and 1st August: “I think it will be very tough. It is good to have several car of the same category (R5), this assures great fuss on the road. In my opinion, we will have four or five drivers fighting for victory, including the two madeirans, Miguel Nunes and Alexandre Camacho. This rally has all it needs to be very well fought.”
