Consani wants a place in RVM podium
Robert Consani is already preparing his debut in Rali Vinho Madeira, driving a DS3 R5. The frenchman, who's current fourth in the European Rallies Championship, assumes his total ignorance of the madeiran event, but it won't diminish his ambition. The goal is to try a place on the podium.
"I know nothing about Rali Vinho Madeira! What Bruno Magalhães told me is that it has very beautifull landscapes and the madeirans are very kind. Besides that, I konw nothing about the roads or the route. Anyway I want to be among the top three", he said, talking to RVM official site.
Consani was lately in Estonia Rally, where we awas forced to retirement due to mechanical problems. Before, he was 5th in Azores, 5th in Latvia and 2nd in Austria.
Number 3 in RVM edition 56 is part of the same team as Bruno Magalhães, Delta Rally, so the frenchman expects to get a precious help from por the portugues driver. "I hope Bruno helps me as much as possible, as he has a long experience in that rally and got several good results. For a foreigner who does not know the roads it is always more difficult than for the local drivers or other who have done several time that event, but I am optimistic", he concluded.
