The staff is working hard to repair the damages caused by the accident in Avenida da Mar, in the Porsche 997 GT3 of Gil Freitas.

"Next to Empresa da Eletricidade da Madeira there is a small bump we were not able to notice in the reconnaissance. The front part of the Porsche is very light, the wheels lifted and I lost control, and then unable to make the turn. I went straight into the sidewalk and hit it with a wheel. The damages are not heavy but there is always something that breaks...", explained the driver to RVM official site.

Concerning the remaining rally, he assured: "We are trying to put the car ready so that tomorrow we will take part, with the due penalty. My staff assures me that the car will be ready for tomorrow", said Gil Freitas.
