Bruno Magalhães is a more distant leader

After 4 stages this morning, Bruno Magalhães leads and increases his advantage to Miguel Nunes.

Magalhães started the day in third place, but did not lose time and swept the madeiran away from the leadership, leaving him in second place, with José Pedro Fontes right behind less than 4 seconds away.

Alexandre Camacho keeps winning time, finishing the morning in fourth. The madeiran has taken back part of his yesterday's delay, caused by a puncture. Anyway he is 52 seconds behind the third, José Pedro Fontes, being the fight for the podium more difficult.

Alexandre Camacho wins in Ponta do Pargo

The madeiran driver Alexandre Camacho keeps his very fast pace, winning SS 14 Ponta do Pargo 1, with 7:55.0, a time that allows him to overtake João Barros for the fourth place.

Bruno Magalhães (7:50.9), Miguel Nunes (7:52.7) e José Pedro Fontes (7:54.2) take the next spots and keep their overall places.

Robert Consani gets the fifth time (7:56.0) and overtakes Ricardo Moura, being current sixth.

Carlos Vieira and Rui Conceição retire due to mechanical problems

The team Carlos Vieira / Luís Ramalho retired, with mechanical problems in his Porsche 997 GT3 Cup 2010, during SS 13 - Ponta do Sol 1.

Rui Conceição / Roberto Fernandes retired before CH 13, also due to mechanical problems in their Ford Escort RS Coswort.

Carlos Martins out of RVM: "I am sorry I was not able to finish the race"

Carlos Martins finished yesterday the second day of RVM in the tenth place, but this morning bad luck knocked at his door and the driver is out of the race.

"The transmission broke inside the stage", explained Carlos Martins to RVM site, in Service Park.

Bruno Magalhães is the new leader of RVM

After two stages in this third day of the race, Bruno Magalhães became leader of Rali Vinho Madeira, with a 2.5 seconds advantage over Miguel Nunes.

José Pedro Fontes was the fastest in SS 13 - Ponta do Sol 1, with 5:15.1 and is now threatening the second place of Miguel Nunes, who did 5:18.4.

In this stage, Bruno Magalhães was third with 5:14.4.

Alexandre Camacho keeps recovering time. He was second (5:15.2) in Ponta do Sol 1 and is approaching João Barros' fourth place.

Paulo Domingos and Vítor Ferro out of Super Rally / Rally 2

Despite being included in the start list for the third and last day of RVM, Paulo Domingos and Vítor Ferro will not take part.

The drivers showed their interest in taking part under Super Rally / Rally 2 rules, but were not able to have their cars ready on time for the race.

Bruno Magalhães the fastest on the 1st SS of the day

Bruno Magalhães was the fastest in the first SS of the day - Câmara de Lobos 1, with a time of 8:12.9.

He is now in second place, only half a second behind the leader Miguel Nunes, who did 8:18.2.

Getting ready on the road for the RVM

In the third day of RVM, the race heads west with the SS in Câmara de Lobos 1 and 2 ; Ponta do Sol 1 and 2; Ponta do Pargo 1 and 2; Rosário 1 and 2.

On the road, the organisation and the authorities are carefully taking all the needed measures to ensure all goes well in this RVM, specially concerning safety.
