Bruno Magalhães: "I was not expecting to do such a good time"

Bruno Magalhães did the second best time in Avenida do Mar super stage (1:44.2).

"The car was sliding away, I made some mistakes and, honestly, I was not expecting to do such a good time", aknowledged the portuguese driver when entering Parc fermé.

The difficulties felt with the car leave Bruno Magalhães "thinking on how to improve the car", to be able to face the second day of Rali Vinho Madeira. "We will think about what to do to solve the situation", he said.

Robert Consani: "I am happy for the time we did"

Robert Consani was the fastest driver in Avenida do Mar. The italian-french driver did the super stage in 1:43.09.

"I am happy for the time we did. It went well, there was a large croud, the city is beautiful, we are very happy with this start", said the driver after the stage.

Concerning tomorrow, Consani is uneasy, but we will not restrain from going fast:

"We don't know the road well, but we want to attack, though with caution"

Administrative checks have begun

Administrative checks of the teams taking part in 2015 edition of Rali Vinho Madeira have started in floor -1 of Madeira Tecnopolo.

Besides the property document it is necessary to deliver the technical passport and all the documentation related to the teams entry according to the rules.

The cars are in Madeira

The cars of the teams that come from outside Madeira to take part in 2015 edition of RVM arrived at Madeira. The unloading started this morning at 10.30 a.m., in Caniçal Harbour, with 19 competition cars.

Alexandre Camacho: “A good result would be a place in the top three”

The Citroen DS3 R5 is being prepared by Delta Rally, the same team that prepares the car for Robert Consani and Bruno Magalhães' Peugeot.
Alexandre Camacho and Pedro Calado have not tested the car yet, but have followed part of the work.

Miguel Nunes: “We have a car that assures us of fighting for the victory”

He made his last competition nine months ago, but is the current regional champion and will make a strong bet in the 20145 edition of Rali Vinho Madeira (RVM).
Miguel Nunes will drive a Ford Fiesta R5, with João Paulo, and the goal is to foght well on the road to be faster than his rivals.

Today all day long and tomorrow afternoon the teams participating in RVM 2015, are collecting in the secretariat located in Madeira Tecnopolo – Rally's HQ -, the set of stuff needed to their participation in the race. The number plates, the plates with the associated brands, mandatory on all cars and the “road books”.

As vitórias em 2011, 2012 e 2014 deixam Bruno Magalhães a um triunfo de igualar o italiano Giandomenico Basso (vencedor em 2006, 2007, 2009 e 20013), no palmarés do Rali Vinho Madeira (RVM). Mais um motivo de interesse para a prova e para o piloto português.
