Rali Vinho Madeira (RVM) and Banco Português de Investimento (BPI) renewed their sponsorship agreement for another year.

The signing of the documents took place today, 1st August, in Avenida do Infante branch of the Bank, and includes a 25 thousand euros sponsorship. Six thousand will be given away as prize money for the participants (3 thousand for the winner, 2 thousand for the second and 1 thousand for the third place).

On behalf of BPI, Miguel Gouveia stressed “the importance of having the branch linked to a major sports event. “We must aknowledge the work and effort of Rali Vinho Madeira's organization, in taking this event to the road, always having a competitive event, with suspense concerning the winner and lots of fans on the road. Having in mind the success of this partnership, I hope it will last for many years”, said Miguel Gouveia.

José Paulo Fontes, chairman of the Rali Vinho Madeira Organizing Committee, said the was happy with this long lasting partnership between the two entities: “It means both sides are happy with the support and return of this bet. In a time of short private sponsorships, we must stress this continuity. The Rally keeps its prestige and visibility also at the international level, through a large media coverage”.
