The dispute at Serra d’Água 1, first Special Stage of the 4.th section, brought Alexandre Camacho back to the leadership of Rally Vinho Madeira. "Pepe" Lopez, who was leader after the previous timed Special Stage, lost 3 seconds to the Madeiran driver and is now at the second spot with a heading of 6.6 seconds over Giandomenico Basso. Bruno Magalhães, now fourth, is still the best driver of those interested in The Portuguese Rally Championship. Miguel Nunes, even is performing at a lower ryhthm than his main competitor in the Madeiran Championship, is still positioned fifth.
