The entries list of Rali Vinho da Madeira will be presented next Wednesday, 28th july. Even though the document presented by Club Sports Madeira still needs the approval of both international and national federations, the number 1 will be on the doors of Alexandre Camacho and Pedro Calado’s Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo. This is due to the fact the Madeiran driver is the only competitor in the event with FIA priority. Camacho has such status for being the winner, in 2018, of the European Rally Trophy, with its finale performed in the Casino do Algarve Rally, therefore keeping this status until the 31st December of this year.
The list of drivers with priority in the regional rallies of the international federation is a document of only 43 drivers around the world and only a few countries are represented in this list by more than one driver.
Portugal, as most countries, is only represented in such document by the Madeiran driver, Alexandre Camacho.
