João Silva mastered the two-wheel drive
João Silva, 12th in the overall classification, mastered the Rali Vinho da Madeira, as far as two-wheel drive cars were concerned. In his debut with Peugeot 208 Rally4, the driver quickly placed himself in the front and soon separated from Rui J. Fernandes, in Renault Clio R3T, and from Vítor Sá, with Citroën DS3 R3T, who were fighting for the next positions. With the abandonment of Fernandes, Sá stayed quiet in the second position of the category and left the way open for Miguel Caires to reach the podium in his Renault Clio Rally4.
