João Silva was the best in two-wheel drive
The battle for the lead among the two-wheel-drive vehicles was coincident with the fight for the head of the Peugeot Rally Cup Iberica. João Silva was always in command and ended up with a comfortable lead over his direct opponents but, especially during the first special stage, he had to apply himself to beat the competition.
Among those who will be competing in the entire calendar of the mono-brand competition established with the Peugeot 208 Rally4, Pedro Antunes, second in the category, made a good operation in Madeira by reinforcing the lead with which he had arrived on the island. The lowest place on the podium in the division belonged to the Spaniard Seri Perez who, like Antunes, even won special stages. In what were his first kilometres with the model, Vítor Sá was fourth.
