The Regional Government, through the Regional Secretariat of Tourism and Culture, shall continue to support the Club Sports da Madeira to, once again, organise the "Rali Vinho da Madeira", bearing in mind that it is the largest socio-sports automobile event, which takes place annually in Madeira for more than six decades.
The Autonomous Region of Madeira is a tourist destination of recognised quality, with great international visibility.
Therefore, it is important for the Regional Government to be present at events such as this, with a wide impact abroad, which contribute towards increasing the visibility of Madeira as a destination through a diversified and comprehensive offer aimed at different audiences.
In addition, each edition, together with the fact that it allows the locals and the people of Porto Santo to experience the rally with the same passion, which dates back to the first motor races in Madeira, represents a moment of economic induction in the Region, with the involvement achieved throughout the island.
Aware of the importance of holding the rally, the Regional Government is grateful for the commitment and dedication of the Club Sports da Madeira in its organization, for which would like to leave a word of gratitude and recognition to its management and the entire team, which annually puts the competition on the road with the same determination and eagerness.
