Diego Ruiloba, driving a Citroën C3 Rally2, is the leader of Rali Vinho da Madeira, having completed the first stage of the event organised since 1959 by Club Sports da Madeira. The Spanish driver has a lead of 10.7 seconds over Armindo Araújo, at the wheel of a Skoda Fabia RS Rally2. The lowest place on the podium at this stage of the race is occupied by Alexandre Camacho from Madeira, who is making his debut in this event in a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2.
