Alexandre Camacho will debut a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 at Rali Vinho da Madeira. The defending regional champion will also have a new navigator, the experienced Carlos Magalhães. Camacho is 44 years old and his first rally was in 2001 with a Toyota Yaris. He won the FIA European Rally Trophy in 2018 and has been regional champion seven times, in 2008 and 2009 with a Peugeot 207 S2000, 2015 in a Porsche 997 GT3, 2017 in a Peugeot 208 T16, 2018 and 2019 at the wheel of a Skoda Fabia R5 and in 2023 using a Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo. With six wins, he is the record holder for victories in Rali Vinho da Madeira.
