Cidade do Funchal is the new name for the traditional Avenida do Mar super-special, a special race that brings a lot of excitement and animation to the city centre, which has hosted the event organised by Club Sports a Madeira since 1959. It's a classification designed for display, with some roundabouts, 90º bends and several chicanes to reduce the speed of the competitors.
