One of the attractions of the 65th Rali Vinho da Madeira is the presence of the Peugeot Rally Cup, a mono-brand competition in which ten and a half drivers use the French brand's 208 Rally4 model. Vítor Sá from Madeira is the leader for this competition, where he has a lead of 4.5 seconds over the Spaniard Miguel Garcia. Hugo Lopes, the trophy's driver ahead of the event organised by Club Sports da Madeira, is third, 7.9 seconds off the lead. Further back are Unai de la Dehesa and Pedro Pereira, in second place.
