Consani wants a place in RVM podium

Robert Consani is already preparing his debut in Rali Vinho Madeira, driving a DS3 R5. The frenchman, who's current fourth in the European Rallies Championship, assumes his total ignorance of the madeiran event, but it won't diminish his ambition. The goal is to try a place on the podium.

Com o título “Rali Vinho Madeira 2015”, publicou o Diário de Notícias de 23 de julho de 2015 uma carta de um “Leitor devidamente identificado” sobre uma dívida que a organização do Rali tem com pessoas que colaboraram com a organização da prova no ano de 2013.

À Comissão Organizadora do RVM cumpre esclarecer o seguinte:

1 – O “Leitor devidamente identificado” deveria, em nome da verdade, mesmo mantendo o anonimato, ter informado que é funcionário da Câmara Municipal do Funchal (CMF);

Agreement with BPI signed on Monday

On Monday, the 27th will take place the signing of the agreement between the Rali Vinho Madeira organisation and BPI - Banco Português de Investimento.

The long standing agrement between the two entities will be once again renewed.

The ceremony will take place in the bank's Ribeiro Seco branch, at 18 hours.

Assinatura de protocolo com o BPI na segunda-feira

Está agendada para a próxima segunda-feira, dia 27, a assinatura do protocolo entre a Organização do Rali Vinho Madeira (RVM) e o BPI – Banco Português de Investimento.

A iniciativa visa renovar o acordo de patrocínio entre as duas partes, que já dura há largos anos.

A assinatura vai ter lugar na agência do banco no Ribeiro Seco, a partir das 18 horas.

National rallies champion wants to finish as good as possible and to know better the car

Pedro Meireles is enthusiastic when facing his participation in another Rali Vinho Madeira. Current national rallies champion is driving a Skoda Fabia R5 since May, a car that driver had the chance to test in Rali de Santa Cruz e Machico having in mind the top regional event.

"I enjoy very much this rally and I want to finish as good as possible, but the main goal is to know still better the car. I have a new car, that has already shown it is competitive, but I am still adapting", Pedro Meireles told RVM official site.

Issues to remember

The 57 entries in Rali Vinho Madeira (RVM) are divided in three competitions.

In the event, 37 drivers will fight for the FIA European Rally Trophy.

“All the drivers had the chance to choose if they wanted to adapt the car for the FIA event and so decide in which competition to take part”, said the chairman of the Organising Committee during the presentation of the entry list for 2015 edition.

“It will be an excellent edition with good cars and teams”

With 57 teams, the entry list for 2015 edition of Rali Vinho Madeira (RVM) was presented today, with the assurance by the chairman of the organising committee:
“It will be an excellent edition with good cars and good teams. There are drivers who know well Madeira and the madeiran roads, among them former winners”, stressed Paulo Fontes in the Press Conference held this afternoon in Madeira Tecnopolo. The rally will have ten R5 cars.
