Robert Consani was the fastest in Avenida do Mar super stage opening 2015 edition of Rali Vinho Madeira.

Driving a Citroen DS3 R5, the italian-frenchman finished the first stage of RVM with the time of 1:43.9 minutes. Only three tenths of a second away was Bruno Magalhães (Peugeot 208 T16), a driver who has won three times the main madeiran motorsports event.

The third faster in Avenida do Mar was the azorean Ricardo Moura with a Ford Fiesta R5 who had the time of 1:44.8 minutes.

Closing the top five was João Barros (Ford Fiesta R5), with a time of 1:45.3 minutes, and, at last, José Pedro Fontes (Citroen DS3 R5), with 01:46.0 minutes.

Among the madeirans, the best was Alexandre Camacho, sixth overall in 1:47.5 minutes.
We should remark that nr. 55, Paulo Domingos' Porsche 997 GT3, did not take part in the stage, havind retired in SP due to mechanical problems.

In the stage, the were also the accidents of nr. 65, the Opel Corsa GSI of José Romero, and nr. 40, Gil Freitas' Porsche 997 GT3.
