The driver of the Team Hyundai Portugal was the fastest in the Special Stage Spectacle of the Classification of Avenida do Mar- Centro Internacional de Negócios da Madeira, with the time 00:01:39,0. “It went well - we did not make mistakes and the car is ok”, he commented at the end of the race. He mentioned that "feeling is good, even though this classification is not worth much".
Pedro Meireles took the second ranking with the time 00:01:40,0. Right after was the Algarve native Ricardo Teodósio with the time 00:01:40,5.
Giandomenico Basso who lead this stage last year's edition. This year-round took the 5th spot with the time 00:01:40,8. He confessed that "it did not go so well for him". Nonetheless, it was "fun" and tomorrow he will drive faster.
The best Madeiran driver was Miguel Nunes who completed the today's race with 00:01:40,9, reaching the 6th position.
Last year's champion, Alexandre Camacho, took the 11th position this year. "We were cautious as this is the first year that there are sanctions, so we did not want to take many risks today" he highlighted.
