The medical and nurse team that will collaborate in this year’s edition of Rali Vinho da Madeira attended a special training session this morning at Comando dos Bombeiros Sapadores do Funchal (BSF)which cover the basic help procedures in case of car accidents with people blocked inside.

In this case, the particularities of the racing cars and special materials used by the pilots force to specific procedures and this training was divided in two parts: theoretical and practical.

A racing vehicle, an Opel Ascona belonging to Pedro Faria was used during the practical session.

José Minas, commander of the BFS, was responsible for this special training session.
