The Rali Vinho Madeira is much more than just a motorsport competition. It’s an event which is annually awaited with much expectation. This experience brings together thrills and surprises both locals and tourists, in a big event which, combining sports with our beautiful and exuberant landscapes, leaves no one indifferent.

Its quality, renowned both at a national and international level, is part of an affirmation process which is reinforced, with much effort, year after year.

This quality also results from our authenticity and the way we experience, intensely and genuinely, this race and each of its stages, in the various locations where it takes place, counting with the mobilization and active participation of our population. This participation differentiates this event from all the other competitions which are promoted, both here in the country and abroad.

Assumed as one of our most important socio-cultural manifestations, the Rali Vinho da Madeira is also an excellent opportunity for international promotion and projection, ensured via the images which, in the four corners of the world, value our nature, our landscapes and, naturally, the spirit with which we experience this great automotive celebration.

To the Organizing Committee, to all who – directly and indirectly – contribute to its realization and, naturally, to each of its participants, I wish much success and am certain that, once more, we will have the show on the road, therefore complying with the purpose of this Rally, in a joint celebration in name and in favour of our Region.
