Pedro Meireles/Mário Castro’s Skoda Fabia R5 has arrived this morning to Funchal harbour.
This was the first Portuguese team to have arrived at Madeira to participate in the 59th edition of Rali Vinho da Madeira. The other vehicles are expected to arrive on Wednesday, 1stAugust, around 11.30h a.m., on board the ferry boat Volcan de Tijarafe, operating for Naviera Armas.
Enrolment for the Tour European Rally in Madeira is open until 3rd August and several Portuguese pilots are already registered in this trophy, namely with R5 vehicles.

A reinforcement of 40 to 45 million euros will be given to Club Sports Madeira to acquire equipment that frequently is used by other sports associations around the island. Furthermore, and because Rally Vinho Madeira involves internationally renowned teams, promotion is guaranteed.
