The President of the Regional Government of Madeira, Miguel Albuquerque, visited the Rali Vinho da Madeira Headquarters this morning, a facility that has been operational since July 18th and which houses the entire structure involved in the organization of the event. This year, the Headquarters is located at the Marina Forum, with all the conditions and in a privileged location, close to the excitement of the rally.
Miguel Albuquerque took the opportunity to underline that "this rally is meant for Madeirans, because Madeirans are huge fans of this rally, the successive generations throughout these more than 60 years of the event, have always liked it and go to the road massively".
In a week of great hustle and bustle for the organization of the competition, the President of the Regional Government highlights the complexity and human involvement in the preparation of an event of this magnitude "a rally of this nature requires a lot of work, a lot of organization, a lot of logistics and above all, a lot of voluntary availability of the people who have been connected to the organization of this event for many years. It is very important that the next generations are also willing to volunteer to help in the organization of the event".
