As a result of the request by the Customs of Funchal regarding the transportation of fuel, please note carefully:
"The movement of products already released for consumption must comply with the rules laid down in article 60 of the Code of Special Consumer Taxes (CIEC), approved by Decree-Law No. 73/2010 of June 21.
For the Organization of the RVM comply with the above-mentioned procedures, all teams wishing to transport fuel and/or oils to the RVM 2017, need to inform the organization until the 21st of July, by sending the following information by e-mail to transportes@ralivm.com:
- Amount of litres of fuel and/or oils to be transported
- Copy of the invoice for the purchase of the fuel (even though the invoice has quantities exceeding the quantity to be transported)
- Accounting details for the issuance of the invoice regarding the payment of the respective taxes
With the above information, the fees/taxes to be paid will be calculated. All levies will be paid directly to Rali Vinho Madeira, prior to embarkation and disembarkation of vehicles, and a receipt subsequently issued. RVM collects all tax payments and consequently pays one sum total to Customs of Funchal for all teams.
Prior to embarkation of the vehicles to Madeira, the Organization will send a copy of the proof of payment of the respective taxes, which must be in physical possession by the team member loading and unloading of vehicles. Lack of presenting the document can lead to no embarkation of the vehicles for the team and/or seizure of fuel, as well as payment of fines.
The RVM Organization is not responsible for any situation that may occur for non-compliance with these procedures.
