With the "clear goal of fighting for the victory", the driver João Silva is confident of a good result in this Rali Vinho Madeira (RVM). "We have a competitive car, we have gained experience with the car along the regional championship and I think we have every chance to introduce us to the start of the rally with the potential to callenge the top spot", he guaranteed.

Currently in third in the ‘Coral’ Madeira Rally Championship, he  also defended that "a win in such an extensive and  competitive rally does not dependent on the preparation alone, but also a bit of luck in decisive moments and in time to make decisions.

João Silva, whose co-driver Rui Rodrigues, stressed further that they already participate in RVM for many years, but never had a car that would fight for victory ". "This is the first event where I'm fighting with international drivers and I see, in a way, with some very good eyes, i.e. it is very motivating for me to be able to compare me with the best, such s the likes of of Basso, who already won this rally four times, and Stephane Lefebvre to be running in an official manufacturer team and that despite being very young, has an enviable track record", he stressed.
